but when i get the steam version i will check if it is easier to build the giga bridge on there and run some tests.
Note: for the momment i am using the free DF version to see if it works. (image of bannersaga 1 and also how i think we should build it! ) IF we embark with an expedition and load up a lot of stone blocks and build a gigantic bridge that connects two islands and then retire that > and then make a fort in that island, will people use the bridge and go over to your fortress? Also will civs be able to use the bridgefort to pass over and between the main continent and the island and build locations from one end to an other?
It is known that in DF for merchents, invaders and other enteties to go in your fort there must be a phisical road from their starting point to their destination,therefor if one builds in an island with little or no life the incoming people to your fort would be almost none (and also that would explain why some civs can prosper in isolated islands with no trouble from other civs ) My question is this.
